Karen has been fortunate enough to have lived in many places across the country. From the plains, to the coast, through the Rockies, and into the North West Territories. She has also travelled across the ocean, and visited parts of Europe.

Throughout, she has used her easel and paint to capture snapshots of the land. A smoking teepee in the north. A desolate farm in the prairies. Boys playing soccer against a cafe wall in Greece.

Her respect for the land shines in her work.
